Abstract
The in-situ spectral data of water properties were collected throughout the Chesapeake Bay area during the 2005 summer cruise campaign. Measured quantities include absorption, attenuation, backscattering, reflectance and fluorescence of chlorophyll and CDOM. The data were used to estimate optical proxies for the particle assemblage in Chesapeake Bay area. The depth profile IOP data were also entered to Hydrolight to simulate the reflectance spectra and compared with the field measurement data
