Abstract :
We use a previous RF and NRZ data summation scheme with a 22/sup 23/-1 PRBS. However, we use a 1.55 /spl mu/m distributed-feedback (DFB) laser, which operates in a single-mode but has a larger pulse timing jitter than a Fabry Perot laser, and modulate at a standard digital transmission rate of 2.5 Gbit/s.
