Abstract
This paper presents the performance analysis of multiple access (MA) time hopping-pulse position modulated (TH-PPM) ultra wideband (UWB) radio systems in a fading multipath environment. In particular, we provide expressions of the signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINK) and bit error rate (BER) as a function of the number of users, the number of multipath components, transmitted signal power and fading parameter.
