  • Abstract
    This paper proposes the use of an integrated low cost SAW torque sensor to improve the dynamic performance of permanent magnet servo drive systems including rotor position detection. A start-up procedure that enables machine control at and from zero speed is discussed and results presented to illustrate performance.
