  • Abstract
    Monitor and analysis of power system is very important to guarantee power quality. Accidents often occur because of bad power supply quality. So power department and user of electric power all want to improve power quality. Monitor and analysis System of power quality is widely used. The paper monitored fluctuated condition of power quality index by means of method of frequency spectrum analysis based on acquisition of time domain signals, and analyzed influence factor of fluctuation of power quality. A monitoring and analysis system using LabVIEW is developed. Firstly Importance of monitor and analysis of power quality and index of power quality were introduced in this paper, then basic theory and method of frequency spectrum analysis were introduced. The content of harmonic and total harmonic distortion (THD) of voltage and current wave in electric network and content of harmonic brought by user of electric power are obtained from the system. This is very useful for power department and user of electric power to improve power quality.
