  • Abstract
This paper proposes an approach to automatic motion generation of 3D spring models with music. Music factors could be extracted from MIDI (Music Instrument Digital Interface) file. Instead of designing and calculating the animation of an object directly, a sequence of motion controllers, which can finish a set of motions affected by music factors, is automatically generated by a generation algorithm. A prototype system was developed for evaluation and it was confirmed that the users were relatively satisfied with the generated motion based on music
