Abstract
The calculation method of a planar coupling loop´s transformation ratio of the waveguide reflective phase shifter is considered in view of a dielectric substrate´s effect. The transformation ratio is one of major parameters of an equivalent circuit used for simulation of such phase shifter. At calculation the conventional technique of the electrodynamic analysis of the partially-filled rectangular waveguide is applied. The carried out calculations point to a significant field distortion even with thin substrates
