Abstract
According to the channel´s fading characteristics, power control, adaptive modulation and coding (AMC), and auto request retransmission (ARQ) techniques for link adaptive are systematically studied for OFDM-based wireless systems in this paper. Furthermore, simulations and analyses are performed by combing these link adaptive techniques with PF scheduling algorithm. It is shown that there are sufficient performance improvements for system throughput and time delay when these link adaptive techniques are applied.
