Abstract
In this paper an analog low cost realization of a parametric field is presented. After a short explanation of the basic concept, some examples of programmed transfer functions are introduced to demonstrate the adaptability of the circuit. The generated circuit output is compared to the desired transfer function. The reliability of the characteristics in fabrication is discussed afterwards. Compared to digital standard solutions it is shown, that with optimized transistor geometries a competitive CMOS-realization can be built. Standard CMOS-technology was chosen because of low cost and the requirement for an integrated digital programming interface
