Abstract :
In this paper, we proposed the Foldy-Lax equation/MoM hybrid method to predict the RCS of wire-type scatterers with random orientation. Excellent agreement was found between the results of proposed method and MoM. Moreover, the proposed method showed shorter computation time than that of the conventional MoM. This method can be effectively applied to predict the RCS of a group for more than several hundreds of scatterers, and can also be applied to arbitrary shape of identical random-oriented scatterers.
