Abstract
The throughput of ad hoc networks is highly sensitive to multi-access interference (MAI) and node movement. So the blind adaptive multiuser detection, resisting MAI effectively, for CDMA-based mobile ad hoc networks, is addressed, and the number of packets received in a slot is deduced. We present the constant velocity (CV) model and derive the length of data packet and the probability of complete transmission. The information quantity of per data packet is measured based the probability of complete transmission. Finally we discuss the throughput of ad hoc networks and give numerical simulations. We get the result that the throughput increases with transmission radius decreasing, transmission velocity increasing and transmission time increasing.
