Abstract :
An effective approach to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) from printed circuit board (PCB) is to find the primary types of radiation source such as differential mode (DM) and common mode (CM). This paper proposed to use polarization characteristics of the PCB radiation in the far field region to help find the emission source types from measured EMI data.
