Abstract :
A complex first order system (CFOS), which has been defined mathematically and realized numerically in computers, is found to be realized by electronic circuit. The circuit is similar to the well known analog computer circuit for solution of second order equation, but not the same. The CFOS circuit can be used as a band pass filter. A vowel recognition system is constructed using CFOS filter bank and transputer. To construct a real time, module structured system, transputer´s ability is used effectively
