Abstract :
In this paper, a miniaturized CPW bandpass filter is presented. The technique, adopting a pair of cross-coupled lambda/4 resonators with loaded SRR, is applied to make the circuit size compact. The proposed filter shows a high rejection in the stopband and a low insertion in the passband. Finally, this filter was designed, fabricated and measured. Measurements verify that the insertion loss below -2 dB is from 3.5 GHz to 4.2 GHz. This compact CPW bandpsss filter with good transmission performances is potential to high-density microwave CPW circuit applications.
