Abstract :
In this contribution we show that the high degree of spectral coherence in high-repetition-rate optical frequency combs enables simultaneous downconversion of broadband microwave signals and programmable multi-tap complex-coefficient filtering in the intermediate frequency (IF) band. Our results demonstrate programmable filtering and tuning within 5 GHz IF bandwidth using a 20-tap 10 GHz opto-electronic frequency comb programmed in a line-by-line manner.
