Abstract
Numbers of transit agencies in the world have developed the trip planning systems that ensures the availability of data needed to provide transit trip information for customers. In Taiwan, there are no any reasonable search algorithms considering the transit network, timetable, and the restrictions on access stops; hence the searching results of the transit trip planning system are not applicable. This paper focuses on the characteristics of transit network and develops a multimodal trip planning system that combining the database structure and trip planning algorithm.
