  • Abstract
A CCIR 601 video filter that integrates an input clamping circuit, a 3rd-order equalizer, a 5th-order elliptic filter with sinx/x correction, and a 75 Ω driver achieves a 5.5 MHz (fc) lowpass filter with 60 dB SNR, 0.2% differential gain, 0.38° differential phase, 0.3 dB passband ripple, 20 ns group delay variation up to 0.9 fc, 43 dB attenuation at 1.45 fc in a 1.5 μm 4 GHz BiCMOS process technology. Filter active area is 8 mm2 and it dissipates 350 mW in a single 5 V power supply
