Abstract :
With the development of the real-time application on Internet, the diversity trend of these applications has come into forth. According to the system architecture of the application and the significance of the data, real-time application can be classified into four classes. Each class demands different quality of service (QoS), and different protocols. This article analyzed the character of transmission delay of the real Internet, and analyzed the key points of real-time protocol design.
