Abstract
A phenomenon of a ball lightning, which occurred in summer, 2000, in Kharkov, is described, followed by discussion of electric devices destruction caused by ts discharge. Analysis of the destruction allowed estimation of characteristics of the discharge electromagnetic field. Assuming an explosion-like model of it, its mathematical model was constructed, based on radiation of a time-splash of conductivity. An analytical solution for the radiated field was obtained and analysed
