Abstract :
The inherent limitations imposed by time and space boundaries to the use of laboratories in experimental disciplines can be overcome by using the tools provided by the communications technologies. In this paper different approaches to the design and implementation of a remote laboratory are presented. The remote laboratory is integrated into an open source e-learning platform
