Abstract :
In this paper we propose a smart multichannel extension of CSMA (SXMA) with collision avoidance as a mean to perform distributed spectrum allocation using the Nash Bargaining solution. The smart carrier sensing replaces explicit CSI signalling required by standard approaches to cooperative game theoretic spectrum allocation in cognitive radio networks. It allows fast convergence of the network to a cooperative Pareto optimal point.
