Abstract :
A new routing algorithm based on grid is proposed for sensor networks. According to the position of sink and suitable size of grid, the virtual grid is constructed and data is forwarded from one grid to another grid. In order to forward data in one grid, curve-based routing model is used to construct forwarding path and the data can be forwarded directly between two neighbor grids. Experimental results show that the algorithm is effective.
