  • Abstract
A human interface called “interface agent” is considered, suitable for unskilled users of computers. The paper presents two types of interface agents and an interactive framework between the agents, and introduces an example applied to and realized in a health care system. One agent is “an avatar of unskilled users” that visually shows the users the certain conditions they are situated in. The other is “a problem-solving agent” that has the domain knowledge on the problem regarding the users and a general knowledge on interaction among the two types of the agents. The problem-solving agent interacts with the users´ avatar agent by making effective use of such knowledge and assists the users to solve the problem
