Abstract :
Operations Research is a core course of many management majors. Case teaching on Operations Research is just at its beginning in China. Study about it is very important and meaningful. The aim of this paper is to present some experiences from our case teaching on Operations Research. Firstly, the paper discusses the case organization and case selection for the case teaching in three aspects: characteristics of Operations Research and case selection, student levels and case selection, and desired leaning outcomes and case selection. Then, the paper presents the implementation of Operation Research case teaching - to conduct the case teaching successfully, the high comprehensive quality of teacher, the integrated process of case teaching, and some case teaching tools are necessary. Finally, the paper closes with some conclusions based on the paper.
