Abstract :
Developing an understanding and working in view of the test value chain can contribute to making your company a more valued supplier to your immediate customers. By looking for ways to reduce your key customers´ costs, and engaging in collaborative efforts aimed at cost, quality, and performance improvement, long-term profitable relationships are built. Involving key suppliers, not only in production cost cutting but in development of new products provides other side benefits. Costs can be reduced over generations by using suppliers´ design expertise to provide greater functionality and lower component costs, and by integrating functions from multiple components. Integrated test processes can be designed with lower screening content and greater characterization capability
