Abstract :
This paper presents a BiCMOS dynamic defuzzify circuit using BiCMOS dynamic summation and divider circuits for VLSI implementation of large-scale fuzzy controllers. Using BiCMOS dynamic circuits, the defuzzify circuit is designed based on the 2 mu m BiCMOS technology. The circuit shows 1.6 mu s conversion time for converting 64 input fuzzy words into a deterministic value, which is 2x improvement in speed as compared to the CMOS circuit.
