Abstract

The application of automatic technology is more and more important in modern manufactory, especially in logistics and distribution centers. The benefits of automated logistics are enjoyed by many manufacturers. This paper discusses the application of logistics automation, and analyzes the techniques for manual and automated solutions in warehouse logistics. Finally, we take the AS/RS technology as an example to illustrate its prospects, such as the flexibility, the efficiency and the maximum throughput.
