  • Abstract
The principle and performance of the target selection method based on the uniform movement model are analyzed. Its merits are free from the influence of the uniform formation´s translation and can effectively reduce the translation maneuvers´ influence on the selection of the intended target. However, the performance of formation uniform movement method is poor while applying to the over-the-horizon anti-ship missile (ASM), because it will be influenced by terminal dispersion of self-control period and maneuvering error of the target. Monte Carlo experiments results show that the formation uniform movement method is not capable of selecting the intended target while interference exist and the probability to select an intended target over-the-horizon of ASM launch platform is less than 0.2.
