  • Abstract
The crankshaft is one of the most important components of engine, it endures complex and alternate load and it is the key point and difficulty of the engine design. Dynamic characteristics of crankshaft has been abstractly analyzed its kinematics and dynamics. A model of crank-connecting rod mechanism had been built in the software of Pro/E and ADAMS. To get the minimum force acted on mounting base, structural feature, velocity and quality of the mechanism have been parametric and optimal designed. The simulation results show that they conform to the theoretical arithmetic results. The research displayed a convenience and high efficiency method of mechanical design. It will provide some experience for large-scale simulation research in the future.
