  • Abstract
Simulation of sonar signal is a key point of simulation of submarines´ underwater sonar war. This paper synthesizes transmission theory of normal mode and theory of submarine reflection multi highlight model and signal processing, proposes a simulation method of echoes from active sonar of submarine with describes simulation examples in shallow waters, and analyzes the mechanism of how the sound channel and submarine reflection influence echo signals. In conclusion, multi path effects of sound channel is the main factor in a far distance, which will support the research of sonar signal processing and simulation.
