Abstract :
Summary form only given. The aim of this paper is to evaluate sterilization results after atmospheric pressure plasma treatment in air. We made 3 types of electrode with different pattern for surface discharge. We used alumina and silver paste for dielectric and electrode material respectively, and varied thickness of these materials using screen printer. For these test, AC power supply was applied to sterilize. And in many sorts of bacteria, e-coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and bacillus subtillus were used for this sterilization test. For analysis of the relationship between sterilization results and chemical species generated in discharge, we used optical emission spectroscopy (OES). From these results, we concluded that our atmospheric plasma system is very effective to evaluate sterilization results.
