Abstract :
The safety of the pipeline in use is tightly linked with the resident life and belongings. Reliable structural integrity and safety of oil and gas pipelines under various service pressure events including defects should be warily evaluated. The reliability evaluation of oil and gas pipelines is necessary to prevent risk and seek an effective method. In this paper the practical reliability evaluation method is proposed, analyzes failure mode and cause about pipelines and pressure gas equipment, calculates the reliability indexes of pipe section or pipeline system, studies the faults of pipeline system effects on pipe transfer process, seeks weak links of system, and brings forward concrete and reliable measures to improve system reliability.
