Abstract :
We measured electron transport coefficients, the electron drift velocity, W, and the product of the gas number density and the longitudinal diffusion coefficients, NDL, in the 1.01% and 4.994% O2-Ar mixtures and pure O2 over the range of E/N 0.01~350.0 Td. The measurements have been carried out by the double shutter drift tube method,and a two-term approximation of the Boltzmann equation analysis were used to study electron transport coefficients. We compared measured results and calculated results, and we determined the momentum transfer cross section for O2 molecules
