Abstract :
A robust self-tuning controller that can track a constant reference and reject load disturbance is designed and implemented. The state observer that accommodate the operation of the four quadrant choppers is described when the developed controller is applied to the operation of the DC motor which is driven by DC choppers. Both simulation and experimental results are also presented.<>
