Abstract :
Ship navigation simulation is a hot topic in recent years. But it is also a very complex system, which includes the forecast of three-dimension environment field, simulation of ship motion and its virtual reality. Different from traditional method, this paper focuses its emphases on how to get a real marine environment. Depending on the numerical model, the marine environment can be high-resolution simulated. Also the ship movement and motion can be forecasted by ship maneuver equation. After that, the simulated datum of environment, ship motion, navigation building can be expressed in 3D vision scene by VC and OpenGL and it has taken a good result. This kind system has been used in navigation training and wharf navigation assessment.
