Abstract :
A new implementation scheme of adaptive loop filter based on AVS standard is proposed in this paper. A state machine is adopted to control data processing, the state shift mode is automatically determined according to different filtering modes, and then adaptive processing will be carried out without fixed period filtering for all the data. At the same time, the time sequence of matrix row and column transposing is also optimized, so that the row and column transposing cycles could be shortend. The wave simulation shows that the proposed scheme can reduce the clock cycles to implement loop filtering over a whole macro-block and meet the demands for real-time and high definition decoding.
