Abstract :
A new algorithm for detecting the centre of object which is order 2 rotational symmetric is introduced. This algorithm is more efficient than, but almost as robust as the typical sequential Hough transform. This is achieved by voting of the edge pixels in the image space. The time complexity and storage size of the algorithm are not influenced by the shape of the object. This algorithm has a time complexity of O(n2n0), where n is the image resolution and n0 is the number of objects in the image
