Abstract :
In this paper a dynamic vehicle routing problem with time windows is described where both the influence of real-time road traffic and random customer demand are considered. In order to approaching real complex city environment, a simulation model constructed by both computer simulation method and improved ant colony optimization is proposed in this paper. A fresh food distribution of local chain store in real city environment is researched. The application results prove that the model is effective and efficient.
