Abstract :
There´s complicated game relationship among various stakeholders or agents in the generation-side electricity market. Thus it is very difficult to develop an empirical research on the industrial organization of the electricity industry. In this paper, we set up an industrial organization model for the electricity market based on the complex adaptive system (CAS). And the swarm simulation of the model is carried out to analyze the impact of the proportion of contract electricity, the number and type of newly-built power plants on the social welfare. Then we make some policy suggestions for the ongoing reform of the electricity market of China on the basis of the simulation result.
