Abstract :
A real-time radar video signal simulator based on DSP is described together with the hardware architecture and software design. The method of generating clutter is presented and described. The radar video signal simulator has been used successfully as a test device for the ZL3-2 radar data processing development and as a tool for testing and evaluating the completed prototype system for operator training
