Abstract
A simplified model of the architecture of the frontal lobes, the ACTION network, is applied to study the task of temporal sequence storage and generation. In particular we analyse the manner in which a hard-wired model of such storage is affected by damage corresponding to loss of dopamine. We find support for the DeLong model of 1990, in which the subthalamic nucleus in the indirect path plays an important role
