Abstract :
Checkland´s soft systems methodology (SSM) has been successfully employed to solve organizational semi-structured and unstructured problems. It is faced with the challenges of cognitive biases, misused mental models and frames. After analyzing the features of the decision making theories based on normative and descriptive paradigms, this paper builds up an integrated decision making knowledge system to provide full support to decision process and then put forward an improved SSM.
