Abstract :
Based on analyzing the new characteristics of reconfigurable manufacturing system (RMS) and computer aided process planning (CAPP) system in RMS environment, this paper proposed a CAPP system structure suited for RMS, which has flexibility, opening and integration. Based on dynamic manufacturing resource, it studied part information description method of CAPP suited for RMS and relevant integration process ratiocination mechanism, proposed a strategy of dynamic decision of manufacturing resource using BP neural network, constructed dynamic resource customization platform, implemented combination and reuse of manufacturing resource and process knowledge according to user customization. This CAPP system can create optimum process scheme according to dynamic change of production and manufacturing resource, dispose emergencies in time, and make relevant process regulation.
