Abstract :
The key factor in the accentuated development of the automotive industry is the introduction and development of electronics. It is mainly based on embedded systems, built around microcontrollers. The traction system has an important contribution to maximizing the power of the car while minimizing its fuel consume. Its features are influenced by the tires, more exactly by their adherence and how are they commanded. The present paper describes the study and the implementation of a microcontroller based acceleration control system for road vehicles.
