  • Abstract
UK government appears to have given a "green light" to a new generation of reactors and the UK Prime Minister has encouraged "more ambitious" nuclear plans to tackle the oil crisis (27th May, 2008). However, recently there have been significant changes of direction such as using foreign companies for nuclear new-build, questions about spent-fuel reprocessing, and radwaste packaging, storage, and disposal, etc.
