Abstract :
The authors studied certain immunohaematological parameters after exposure of human blood sample to low power (7 mW) helium-neon laser radiation. Fresh human blood samples were used for the study, and the parameters studied included, hemoglobin, electrophoresis, quantification of serum immunoglobulins, soluble immune complex levels, blood grouping, and candida phagocytosis by neutrophils. Results show that there is no significant change after irradiation except changes in the electrophoretic mobility of hemoglobin and hemolysis.<>
