Abstract
The effect of anode inclination has been studied. By using a conformal mapping technique, we show that there exists an analogy between two emitters with inclined and non-inclined anodes. From the explicit formula obtained, the emission characteristics in the case of an inclined anode can be easily derived with the aid of data for the non-inclined model
