  • Abstract
    This paper proposes a Matlab platform used in a student´s educational activities in order to acquire a better understanding of operational amplifiers functionality, and the basic properties of operational amplifiers and the non-ideal characteristics of the operational amplifiers. The Matlab platform is based upon a study about inverting or non-inverting amplifiers, comparators with or without feedback, differentiator and integrator circuit. We must develop the equations for all possible states in which the circuit may operates and we solve these equations in order to plot the circuit´s waveforms.
