Abstract
This work covers an area of miniaturized electrochemical systems for detection of substances matters in aqueous solutions. Multiwalled carbon nanotubes powder has been used for preparation of screen-printable paste nanocomposition using suitable polymer vehicle. Fabricated electrode has been used for electrochemical analysis of cadmium and lead ions in acetate buffer solution using differential pulse voltammetry and compared with special commercial thick film carbon based polymer paste resulting in three times higher sensitivity. In comparison with standard or commercial thick film carbon based working electrodes we achieved higher selectivity to lead ions, which is very interesting result.
