Abstract :
Summary form only given. The center wavelength of the fibre grating laser (FGL) was determined by the fiber grating Bragg wavelength. We are currently exploring packaging methods to enable strain tuning of the output wavelength. We are also working on optimizing the device and cavity design to reduce chirp and increase modulation bandwidth.
